WHY IT EXISTS

Not every extreme is an exhaustion point.

Plenty of extremes get made by momentum that just keeps absorbing, and a bar that pokes to a new high can still be full of aggressive buyers with more behind them.

Telling a price-ran-out-cleanly extreme from a still-loaded one on the raw footprint is slow, subjective and easy to get wrong in fast tape. Clean Finish does that read on every bar and only marks the ones that pass.

WHAT IT DOES

Built to do one job well.

Less guesswork at extremes

Only bars that genuinely taper into the high or low and show real opposite pressure at the edge get marked.

Two conditions, one glance

Multiple independent checks must both be true, weeding out noisy single-condition prints.

Directional and unambiguous

Clean highs print above the bar, clean lows below, in their own colors.

Tunable strictness

Keep only the most decisive finishes, or loosen it to see more.

HOW IT WORKS

Strict rules, no guesswork.

For each bar the indicator reads the footprint at both extremes and requires the activity to taper cleanly into the edge while genuine opposite pressure shows up in the outer prints.

Only when both conditions hold does a clean high or clean low marker appear. Very thin bars are skipped by design.

The detection logic itself is our work: refined on live tape, and the reason the tool is worth paying for. Sensitivity, filters, colors and display are all yours to tune.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

What data feed do I need?
ATAS connected to a feed that provides footprint/cluster data: real per-price bid and ask volume, like Rithmic or CQG. It works on futures, most crypto perpetuals and volume-based stocks. It is not usable on spot forex, which has no centralized volume.
Which chart types and timeframes work best?
Footprint/cluster charts give the cleanest read, and it also renders on candlesticks. Any bar type works: tick, volume, range, time, Renko, reversal and more. It is built for scalping and intraday trading.
Does it repaint?
With Signal on Close enabled, marks appear only when a bar has finished and then stay put. Without it, the forming bar is evaluated live and can update until close.
Can I combine it with my other order-flow tools?
Yes. It is designed as a confluence layer, so it sits cleanly alongside delta, imbalance, POC, VWAP and your own levels. It flags a condition; you decide how to trade it.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
The trial is granted straight to your ATAS account email and expires on its own after 7 days. No card up front, nothing to cancel.
