Exhaustion Zero Print flagging fading aggression at the low on an ATAS footprint chart

WHY IT EXISTS

Trends end when the orders stop showing up.

Trends do not end at a round number. They end when aggressive orders stop showing up at the extreme.

You can see on a footprint that a swing high printed almost nothing at the top tick, but by the time you scroll and count cells the move has already turned. This indicator watches the exact extreme of every bar and the candles before it, so you do not miss the bar where the pressure dries up.

WHAT IT DOES

Built to do one job well.

One unambiguous marker

A zero print plus a thin opposite side at the extreme becomes a single clear flag.

A trend filter you can trust

A signal only fires after a defined run of same-direction candles, targeting genuine trend exhaustion, not chop.

Two-sided clarity

Bullish and bearish exhaustion print with their own colors and labels.

Reads the real tape

Everything comes from actual traded volume at the extreme, not a smoothed price study.

HOW IT WORKS

Strict rules, no guesswork.

For each bar the indicator inspects the very extreme of the range for absent or nearly absent aggression, requires a reversal candle, and checks that a genuine run of trend bars came before it.

Only when all the pieces line up does a marker print, beyond the bar’s high or low depending on direction.

The detection logic itself is our work: refined on live tape, and the reason the tool is worth paying for. Sensitivity, filters, colors and display are all yours to tune.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

What data feed do I need?
ATAS connected to a feed that provides footprint/cluster data: real per-price bid and ask volume, like Rithmic or CQG. It works on futures, most crypto perpetuals and volume-based stocks. It is not usable on spot forex, which has no centralized volume.
Which chart types and timeframes work best?
Footprint/cluster charts give the cleanest read, and it also renders on candlesticks. Any bar type works: tick, volume, range, time, Renko, reversal and more. It is built for scalping and intraday trading.
Does it repaint?
A bar’s signal comes from its completed footprint and the candles before it. Once a bar closes its marker is fixed.
Can I combine it with my other order-flow tools?
Yes. It is designed as a confluence layer, so it sits cleanly alongside delta, imbalance, POC, VWAP and your own levels. It flags a condition; you decide how to trade it.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
The trial is granted straight to your ATAS account email and expires on its own after 7 days. No card up front, nothing to cancel.
